Painted landscapes, historically, honor the awesomeness of nature. For me, the “awesome” is intrinsic and I seek my own sensual and emotional journey to play out in the landscape.

Waterscapes are both windows and reflections. Transient in nature, waterscapes are emotional journies encompassing themes such as love, acceptance, hope, and fear. Contemplating water has been a way to move through transition and heartbreak, in both an emotional and physical way.
