stories
Humans have used stories to explain complexity since we recognized ourselves as humans. We see faces in abstraction and spiritual stories develop through patterns and we react emotionally to art and beauty. Stories are narratives that we tell ourselves. They can be true and untrue at the same time. Fiction can be more truthful when sharing complex emotions. Which is why art continues to be essential to being human.
